"Refund process was way too slow"
I returned my order and I’m still waiting on the refund. it’s disappointing and not a great value of my time. The return process should be much quicker than this.

I waited several days hoping someone from support would actually get back to me, but I never heard anything. It’s really frustrating when there’s no human contact at all and you’re just left hanging with no answer.

"Pickup was kind of a hassle"
I ordered something online from staples.ca for store pickup and got the email saying it was ready, so I figured it would be quick. But when I got there, nobody could find my order and the employees was looking confused. I ended up waiting around 25 minutes before they finally sorted it out. I did get my item, but pickup should be a lot smoother than that.

"Discount codes are frustrating"
I’ve noticed Staples.ca always has promos showing, but then you get to checkout and half the codes don’t actually work. It gets annoying and feels a bit misleading. The prices can be okay sometimes, but you end up wasting time trying to figure out which discount is even valid.

"The item itself is actually good..."
The item itself is actually good, but the shipping cost was way too high for what it was. To make it worse, the package looked like it had been tossed around without much care. Nothing major was ruined, but it definitely felt like careless handling, which made the whole purchase feel not really worth it.

"Ordering printer ink shouldn’t be this annoying"
I was just trying to buy printer ink, but the website made it way harder than it needed to be. The filters kept resetting, pages were loading slowly, and every time I got close to checkout it would send me back like I’d done something wrong. After about 20 minutes, I just gave up. On top of that, the constant reminder pop-ups and emails felt really pushy, especially when I couldn’t even finish the order in the first place.

"Curbside pickup took way too long"
I placed a curbside pickup order thinking it would be the quick option. I got the email saying it was ready, drove over, checked in, and then ended up sitting in my car for around 40 minutes with nothing happening.
I tried calling the store a couple times and nobody answered, so I finally went inside. Turns out my order was just sitting there waiting. Kind of defeats the whole point of curbside if I still have to go hunt it down myself. Frustrating experience overall.

"I ordered a few office supplies..."
I ordered a few office supplies from staples.ca, and somehow half of what showed up wasn’t even what I picked. The labels were the wrong size, and the pens were a completely different brand. Funny enough, the packing slip had my actual order listed correctly, so clearly the information was right there. Now I get to spend my time sorting out returns for items I never ordered in the first place, which is always a great use of the day. Annoying, honestly

"Feels like nothing is ever in stock"
Every time I try to buy something, it shows as unavailable. It’s frustrating, especially when I finally find what I want and then, of course—it’s not in stock...

"Payment was more annoying than I expected"
I tried ordering a printer from staples.ca, and from what I remember, the whole payment step was the part that really slowed me down. My card kept getting rejected with some vague error, even though I knew the card was fine because I used it on another site right after with no problem.
I think I ended up trying about three times before giving up and switching to PayPal, which finally worked. The order went through in the end, but it left me feeling like the checkout process needs work, especially the error messages. It was just a frustrating waste of time.

"Box was beat up when it arrived"
So the order did show up, and thankfully the stuff inside was fine, but wow, the box looked rough. One side was crushed and ripped like it had been tossed around a truck all day or shoved under a bunch of heavier packages. I opened it kind of expecting something to be broken, but everything inside seemed okay, so that was a relief. Still, the packaging definitely didn’t arrive in great shape.

"Blurry flyers and not much help"
I ordered flyers here and wasn’t happy with how they turned out. The print looked blurry and the colors were off, like maybe no one really checked the final result before handing them over. When I asked about it, the staff didn’t seem too interested in helping. I ended up having to get them reprinted somewhere else.

I ordered a few office supplies from staples.ca because the site said they’d arrive in a couple of days. Instead, it took over a week, and there were barely any updates along the way. I get that delays happen, but if a company gives a delivery estimate, I think they should be upfront when they can’t meet it. I needed the items for work, so the lack of communication was really frustrating. I wouldn’t order again if I needed something quickly.

I waited around forever just to have the guy restart my laptop, which didn’t even fix the problem, and then I still got charged for it. If that’s their idea of tech support, I’m guessing the whole service is probably just not worth dealing with. I definitely won’t be using them again

I had an issue with my order and contacted Staples.ca support a few times already. Each time it was basically the same generic reply and still no actual fix. They kept telling me someone would follow up, but nobody ever did. I had to keep explaining the same problem over and over again, which got really annoying fast. just felt like a waste of time. I probably won’t shop there again if this is how they deal with problems.

"Checkout kept glitching on me"
I tried placing an order on Staples, but the checkout process was a bit of a disaster. Everything seemed fine until I entered my payment info, and then the page kept freezing. I had to fill out the same details twice, which made it feel like the site just wasn’t handling the order properly. Then it suddenly told me my cart had changed, even though I hadn’t changed anything. After about 25 minutes of messing around with it, I still didn’t have an order placed. Super frustrating, especially when I just wanted to get it done quickly...

I’ve ordered from staples.ca twice now and both times the delivery showed up late. The tracking barely updates too, so you’re kinda just sitting there guessing. not worth the stress tbh.

"Not the value it used to be"
I’ve ordered from staples.ca a handful of times, and while the selection is still decent and delivery has been fine, I’ve started to feel like the prices are just too high for what you get. A few basic office items I needed were noticeably cheaper on other sites, even after factoring in shipping. It’s made me realize I’m not just buying supplies anymore, I’m trying to make smarter choices with my money, especially when everything feels more expensive lately. I’ll still use Staples if I need something quickly, but it’s no longer my first stop for value.

"Refund took longer than I expected"
I ordered something from staples and ended up having to return it. To be fair, customer service was polite enough and did help me through the process, but the refund took almost two weeks to show up. I was expecting it to be a lot quicker, so that part was frustrating.
